Personal Property

• Members, guests, and visitors are all responsible for their own belongings.

• All personal belongings must be removed from the gym and changing rooms at the end of each visit.

• Pantheon Plymouth reserves the right to remove any property left behind at the end of the day. Property cleared from changing rooms, or left on the premises, shall be donated to charity if unclaimed after 10 days.

• Pantheon Plymouth accepts no responsibility / liability for any damage or loss to any money, valuables, or other personal property left unattended on company premises.

• Any property stored in lockers provided by Pantheon is stored at the owner’s risk and no liability for loss or damage will be accepted by Pantheon.

  Health

• Members, guests and visitors must warrant and represent that they are in good physical condition and capable of doing physical exercise.

• If you have any medical conditions / health concerns, it is advised that you consult a doctor before participating in any of the activities at Pantheon Plymouth to ensure it is safe for you to do so. 

• You must advise your coach of any medical conditions / health concerns prior to starting any class or training activity, so that it can be noted, and exercises adjusted accordingly.
  

  Safety

• Any class, activity, training programme, or treatment is undertaken entirely at your own risk.

• While we take care to conduct our classes in a safe and responsible manner there is an inherent risk of injury in any physical activity.

• Martial arts are contact sports, and participation could involve the risk of serious or fatal injury.

• No authority is given by Pantheon Plymouth, or its instructors, to use any of the martial arts techniques taught, on any person, other than during training sessions, or demonstrations, and in the presence of an instructor. 

• Pantheon Plymouth, its Instructors or Officers shall not be liable for any accident or injury sustained whilst on Pantheon Plymouth’s premises, except in so far as it can be proven that this relates to a wilful act, neglect or default of the Company or its Instructors or Officers. Any accident or injury on the premises must be reported immediately to the Duty Coach / Manager, including the circumstances in which it occurred.

• Individuals are responsible for providing their own insurance, should they wish to for any reason.

  Minors

If the member / class participant is a minor, their parent or legal guardian must:

• Sign this agreement on behalf of the child / children. By signing this agreement, the parent or legal guardian agrees to be responsible for their child / children’s behaviour and actions at all times and to pay any amounts that are due on their child’s behalf.

• Confirm that there is no medical, physical, or mental reason why their child would not be capable of performing the physical activity in which they wish to participate and accept responsibility for informing the gym staff if there are any concerns or should anything change.

• Understand it is their sole responsibility to inform gym staff of any and all information about any allergies, sensitivities, or behavioural issues their child may have that may impact their child or any other child’s health or well-being.

• Accept full responsibility for their child / children’s behaviour whilst in the gym facility. Children should not be allowed to play on any of the gym equipment, or anywhere on the gym floor.

• Pantheon Plymouth cannot be responsible for children outside of their class. Parents or guardians must wait with their child until the class starts and pick up promptly after.

• Grant Pantheon Plymouth permission to photograph and/or record children in connection with their classes to use the photographs and/or recording for advertising and promotional purposes. Waive the right to inspect or approve the use of the photograph and/or recording and acknowledge and agree that the rights granted to this release are without compensation of any kind.

• Assume all risks of injuries associated with use of Pantheon Plymouth gym, classes, and its facilities, including, but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, exercises and techniques taught by coaches employed by or providing services for Pantheon Plymouth and all other risks being known and appreciated. Although all steps are taken to ensure participants safety, as with all physical activity there are inherent risks which can include accidents, falls, injury or even death.

Agreement & Liability Waiver

I hereby agree to the following:

• I confirm that all the information I have given is accurate.

• I have discussed any health problems with my doctor and informed my instructor. I confirm that I am cleared as fit to participate in gym activities and I will update my instructor should this change.

• I understand that any strenuous physical exercise could lead to minor, serious, or fatal injury.

• I agree that I hold the responsibility for any injury to myself (or my child), or any injury I (or my child) inflicts on another person.  I agree that the owners, operators, officers, employees, instructors, students, or agents at Pantheon Plymouth cannot be held responsible for these injuries or death.

• I understand that the risk of injury cannot be reduced without severely limiting the instruction and class technique offered. 

• Having fully read the risks of injury and death (however unlikely), I hereby waive my right to a lawsuit in the extremely unlikely event of injury or death during a lesson with Pantheon Plymouth, or outside of the lesson while using the exercises, techniques, or practising Martial Arts, taught.

• I hereby agree that no legal action shall be taken up against Pantheon Plymouth, its owners, operators, officers, employees, instructors, students, agents, or any other connections that Pantheon Plymouth has.

• I understand that I am responsible for my own belongings. I agree that Pantheon Plymouth bears no responsibility / liability for any damage or loss to any money, valuables, or other personal property left unattended on company premises.

Nothing in these terms and conditions is meant to limit any rights you might have as a consumer.
